Tyler wasn't going to lie he had been hanging around with a lot of girls lately. But none of them were smart and none of them could hold a conversation. He couldn't help but think back to the day coming to hogwarts. Amelie she was there and she was beautiful more so then he could ever remember. Even Mason knew that there was something going on with him and told him to do everything he could to get his head back into the quidditch season. It was Ileana's last year hear and with her there was no beating the bush she was evil. She had a mind of quidditch and she could come up with trick plays and she was the cleanest slytherin player he'd ever seen but she was also deadly in this game. Ileana could give even the pros a run for their money. She was good and he swore that at least once he was going to beat her. He almost did too but at the last moment the Slytherin seeker had back flipped off his broom over him grabbed the seeker and fell down getting his broom befor total death.
It made him made that he wasn't in Slytherin he really wanted to learn those things and be crazy and as crazy as it sounded practice four hours everyday sounded good and he had to admit every kid on that team was physically fit to no other. He was slightly jealous that their captian wasn't more strict with them. It made him even more mad that instead of being quidditch captain he had to be a prefect. He was in the running for head boy and that sounded great and everything but at the same time it just put him in a sour mood. He had done nothing but live quidditch his whole life and all he had to show for it was a prefect badge on his robes. Granted he did like it but at the same time it made him very mad. But he didn't even think about quidditch anymore he just wanted to hang out with this Ravenclaw girl that he'd only seen once.
So now in his uniform ready for the day to start he got up before all the boys in his room. He smirked Mason was seriously a freak some days. He walked into the bathroom took his shower and brushed his teeth. He didn't mind doing things the muggle way. He actually enjoyed it more then anything he wrapped his towel around his waist and walked out pulling on his black boxers and then the black pants that hung loose on him but not insanely loose. He put on the belt and then put on his button up shirt buttoning it up and letting it hang out until school started. He then pulled on his tie and hung it a little loose. He bit his lip for a moment and decided he really didn't need anything else he grabbed his messanger bag and wand.
He walked out and being a prefect he knew where the common room for all houses were. He walked over to the Ravenclaw common room and stood outside knowing that the painting wouldn't let him in he knew she'd be comming out some time. So he waited leaning up against the wall talking with the painting who seemed very curious as to why a Gryffindor Prefect was waiting outside. But he started telling the painting and he was sure that if he kept going this painting was going to tell him to just go on in and find Amelie.

School was Amelie's favorite place. She may not have been popular like Mason or Aiden or even Miley but she was smart. Teachers loved her and she had her two best friends and honestly that was all she needed. She woke up early, like she always did and got out of bed. The rest of her roommates were still asleep and she kept quiet as she went to take her shower. She turned on the water and while she waited for it to heat up she went to look in the mirror. She looked horrible. She pulled her pajama top over her head and then took off her shorts. She got into the shower and just let the hot water run over her. She washed herself with her body wash and shampoo, the same scent, same brand and all that. She washed her body and just let the smell of her citrus-y bath products wake her up.
She got out of the shower and wrapped one blue towel around her body and used a second one to dry her hair a little before using her wand to spell it dry. Then she went out to the dorm where the other girls were starting to stir. She put her shower pail back in it's place and got out her uniform. She first got her bra on and fresh underwear, of course they matched, then she pulled on the button up shirt, then pulled up her skirt. She buttoned it and zipped it and looked down, she hadn't bothered with new skirts this year so her skirts were a bit shorter than she was use to, that's not to say they were short, just shorter. Finally she sat down and pulled on her knee socked and slipped her feet into her shoes. Then she went to her vanity and did up her tie before starting to do her hair. She had long, beautiful brown hair and she loved it. She straightened it and pulled it into a half ponytail.
She put away all of her dirty clothes and her towels into the bin and then she grabbed her bag and headed out. She went down to the commonroom, it was pretty much empty. She picked up a couple of things that people had left out of place before heading out. She smoothed her skirt before going out of the entrance hole and starting off. She silently cursed as she pulled up her knee socks so they were in the right place because heaven forbid she have anything out of place. She stood up and jumped about a foot in the air when she realized there was someone else there... it was Tyler. She cleared her throat and tried not to blush at the fact that she'd just jumped. "Umm... Hey, what are you doing here?" She asked him, of course, he probably had a ravenclaw girlfriend, he wouldn't be there for her, that'd be... impossible.

Tyler was determined and he wasn't going to give up now. He needed to see Amelie again and he was going to do it and not have her brother find out. Granted he wasn't going to let his father find out either. He knew that if that happened his father would ship him home and personally become the drill coach from hell. It pissed him off that he was always having to change for his father. Though his father was finally coming down to the earth again and was okay with him being friends with Mason. He really didn't like his father but he was learning to tolerate Mason when he came over during the summer. But he had to admit he'd rather go over to Mason's though he really wasn't ever in the house but Mason's dad was much more accepting of Mason's friend and his mother was really nice. But usually they would just meet up somewhere and go their opposite ways later.
He was talking with the statue when it opened and a ravenclaw girl came out and she saw him and just started throwing herself at him until her boyfriend came out and looked at Tyler with a death glare saying stay away from my girl. He just rolled his eyes he didn't want to hang out or around with anyone he just wanted to have another talk with Amelie it was fun talking to her. He looked over at the statue and said," This house is so confusing they are smart but their girls do that. I just don't get smart girls. [/b]" He was honest he rarely went out with anyone from ravenclaw. He'd go with girls who were just easy to get into bed. But now he was hanging out with a very smart girl that he could be himself with. It was interesting to him and he talked to the statue and they were really hitting it off. The statue smiled and opened and then there was Amelie. She was beautiful and he wanted to hang out with her. She seemed surprised to see him. But he just looked happy to see her. He watched as the statue closed and looked at him. He smiled and then said to her. " Well as I recall I told you that I would be seeing you around and I was looking forward to our next encounter Amelie Radcliffe. Well I figured that our next encounter could be this morning and I could ask to escort you to breakfast and have a lovely conversation before class.[/b]" He looked at her with his green eyes and waited for her to say anything. " So Amelie would you allow me to walk with you to breakfast?[/b]"[/blockquote]

Amelie was trying to not freak out, he was there to see her. Holy crap, he was there to see her. She smiled at him and looked him over, he looked nothing like his dad, who she kind of knew through her dad. Jaden really didn't like Tyler's dad Lucas Opella. She reembered once when she was about eight her dad came home ranting and raving about 'the damn Lucas Opella' because they were on the same team for one season and he hated the man. Lucas was arrogant and kind of a jerk. According to the new papers Lucas had gotten in a lot of trouble around the time she and Mason were born when it was found out that Lucas had knocked up a student when he was the flying instructor for Hogwarts. The result was Tyler. She didn't tell either of her parents that she had been looking up information on Lucas Opella and his family.
However it confused her that he suddenly noticed her and cared. She had met him before at various Quidditch awards or whatever. She wasn't going to complain though, she was happy to be getting the attention, she didn't even care that all of her friends were warning her against him. They told her that he was going to end up breaking her heart, assuming her brother didn't kill him first. She was worried about Mason's reaction, this was the first guy she'd ever kind of been interested in so they had never really had to deal with it, of course when she was about nine she'd had a crush on their neighbor and Mason hadn't been trilled but whatever, it hadn't been a big deal, the guy didn't like her back so whatever. It hadn't mattered at all. She pushed the thought from her mind and turned her attention back to Tyler.
It was a touch odd that he'd used her full name instead of just Amelie but whatever she wasn't going to get picky. She smiled and nodded. "Yeah sure." She agreed. "So what do you consider Lovely Conversation?" She asked, looking at him. He was attractive, golden hair, green eyes, it was amazing. She started to walk along, thinking about it. "I'm surprised to see you up this early actually, generally I'm the only one awake."

Tyler was quiet and just looked at her as she seemed calm yet surprised. He smirked over at her and shrugged his shoulders.” Anything with you is a lovely conversation but in all honesty really anything that you want to talk about as long as I understand it. [/b]” He laughed a little bit but looked forward. He then decided that the best way to get this conversation off to a good start was see how many classes they had together. “ Well what classes do you have. Could be cool if we have any together.[/b]” It was odd to think that a Gryffindor is able to be in accelerated classes. But Tyler was and he was surprisingly really smart he pulled the grades off. Though now that it was his fifth year he was sure that it was going to be harder putting him in the accelerated courses and just in normal classes again. He didn't really care anyway he'd show up do the homework and everything. He looked over at her and put his hand out saying, " Here let me get your bag.[/b]" He really didn't know why all of asudden it was like she was the most important person to him. He kind of summed it up to being Mason had always said that he'd like Amelie. But Mason made it impossible to ever really sit down and talk with her. But now that they were able to talk some and he really did like hanging out with her. He took her bag from her and slung it over his shoulder looking over at her. He shrugged his shoulders and just sighed. " Normally I'd think people are crazy for getting up this early. But due to my dad summer workouts start at exactly five am and no excuses. Not to mention the whole prefect duties the sleeping schedule is was weird. But bearable which to me is surprising always hated people who wore these badges and now I am one. I find it kind of funny.[/b]" He just looked around for a moment and then back at her. " Why are you up so early? Are you as messy of a sleeper as your brother? Because he is like the joke of the house they put up pictures. But he is very organized and it just baffles every living soul in Gryffindor.[/b]" He smiled a little he hopped that no one made fun of Amelie like they did of her brother. Mason was loved all throughout Gryffindor and yet he couldn't stay organized and he slept upside down and sideways in bed. He wondered if Amelie knew that her brother was dating a slytherin. He thought it was interesting but then he realized he was his father's boy and was going to date people that were not in his own house though everyone knew that Mason's real friend that was of the opposite sex was going to end up his wife. He brought himself from his thoughts and looked to Amelie to see what she had to say.[/blockquote]

Amelie smiled and tried to not blush as she walked with him. Her mind started racing as he wasid they'd talk about whatever she wanted. What did she want to talk about? Something that wouldn't leave her sounding stupid or like she thought she was really smart. She was technically, but she wasn't going to show it off to him. She looked at him as he started speaking. "I... I'm a year younger than you. we wouldn't have any classes together." She pointed out. That was probably for the best though, because she wouldnt' be able to pay attention in that class at all. She shrugged, they didn't let her skip a year, they were very much against that. She had no idea why, she was really bored in classes because she knew all of the material already. She was even studying for her OWLs next year, she knew she was going to have to tutor Mason.
Amelie smiled and nodded, pulling the strap of her bag over her head and headed it over to him. It wasn't really heavy, she was smart enough to know how to shrink her books so they were lighter and she didn't have to lug around a huge heavy bag, especially with her extra books that she read for fun (And the fifth year books she had with her for studying) and all that, she'd have a back problem by now if she hadn't learned that spell. "Well Crazy is a relative term anyway, I personally think it's crazy to sleep in and waste several hours of daylight just so they can dream about things they could actually be experiencing?" She asked. That was the way she saw it anyway, she didn't get people like her mum or her brothers and sisters who could sleep and sleep until noon or later.
Amelie shrugged. "I've always woken up early." She said. "It's just what I'm use to." Even at home in the summertime she would wake up early. She smoothed her skirt. "Umm... no." She knew what he was talking about. Mason moved around in his sleep and would end up in all sorts of crazy positions. "I generally sleep on my left side... right side up in the bed." She nodded. "I'm just boring like that." She laughed lightly. "Really? Mason? Organized?" Okay so he wasn't a pig like Miley or Aiden but he was no where near the level of organzation that Amelie was use to. He would leave something out for a couple of minutes before putting it away. Amelie could never do that. He didn't color coordinate his closet (As far as she knew) like she did. She shook her head, thinking about that.

Tyler looked around and nodded yeah she was a year younger then he was. That sucked oh well he knew that he would get to see her anyway. He couldn't believe just how specific she was with everything. He looked over at her and nodded. " Yeah that boy has his little cloths cubboard organized by colors uniform or work our cloths. It's really kind of funny it is really anal about all of his things being out of place or not right. Like he goes nuts if someone leaves a towel out don't even get me started on how he organizes our shoes Which I guess is okay seeing as I make everyone's towels color coded and tooth brushes. Not to mention a weekly rotation chore list. [/b]" So Mason and Tyler tended to drive their room mates nuts but at the same time it worked and their dorm was always very clean. He looked forward and thought about it. " You are not boring I'm boring I strictly sleep on my back if I'm really sore I'll sleep on my stomach.[/b]" He closed his eyes for a moment then asked," What do you absolutely love to do Amelie?[/b]"He smiled a little and pointed out, " Just because you are a year younger doesn't mean I wont come and hang out with you. Granted I know you have a reputation to up hold so if you don't want me around I understand. He did understand if people didn't want him around he was Tyler. Mister bad boy Gryffindor the king of the lions. The reason Gryffindor was Gryffindor. He was the player the boy who got everything he wanted. But he didn't just want Amelie he wanted to date her.
He looked around and decided to ask her it wasn't like it was just yet." Hey Amelie?....W...wou...Would you come to Hogsmead with this weekend?" Well he'd done it. He'd asked his first girl to go on a date with him. Before it was always the girl asking him and he'd finally put his neck out there. He was hopping it was worth it. He really wanted to go and public ally hang out with Amelie not just here at school. He looked around and put his hands in his pocket. God did he hate awkward silences and this was it. The quiet grave feeling girls felt when they asked him out and he had to think about it. He took in a deep breath if she said no then they would finish breakfast and then they would be done for the rest of the year. Nothing horrible just humiliation.[/blockquote]

Amelie smiled. "Good." She liked that she wasn't the only one in the family who was crazy organized. It came from their dad, who wasn't crazy but he was pretty damn organized. She shrugged. "Yeah but I bet it's a milion times easier to find things in a quick and effecient manner." Shut Up Radcliffe! Her mind yelled. Try to not look like the crazy ol' looney toon she really was. She pressed her lips together and smiled at him. She Knew he didn't have any trouble getting girls and that if he were to snap his fingers he could easily get three or four people to replace her and she didn't want that. Especially before he got the chance to really knew her and just how crazy she could really be. It got so much crazier than that, but that was mostly only when she was around her sister.
"Alright then we're both boring. I can live with that." Okay he was far from boring. He was Tyler freaking Kemp but ahtever, wasn't going to say that out loud to him. She smiled and thought about the question. "I really love books and reading and... " Something interesting, something that wasn't lame... "I'm pretty good at making quidditch plays." That was true, she was great at making the plays, but she couln't play the game at all. She just didn't care to play it first of all and second off she didn't have the ability like her siblings and dad, she and Summer weren't as into it as Mason, Miley, Aiden and even Tyson, though mum didn't know about that last one. "Oh no, it's totally fine. I'd love to hang out with you." She said quickly. "It's pretty easy to hold onto my reputation." Especially since that reputation was as a friendless loser who spent just about all of her time reading and studying.
She was walking along, they were almost to the great hall when he asked if she wanted to go to Hogsmeade with him. He heart jumped into her throat and for a moment she couldn't speak. Tyler was asking her to go to Hogsmeade with him, he wanted to spend their one weekend of freedom a month with her, that was saying a lot. After a moment she realized she needed to say something, that she was just kind of openly staring at him. "I umm... yeah, yes I would lo-love to go to hogsmeade with you that'd be amazing." She quickly gushed. Then it occured to her, this was a joke, it had to be a joke, he was hanging out with her on a bet. She tried to not think about that, she wasn't going to get worked up yet. She'd worry about it more later when he wasn't in the room.

Tyler was quiet and smiled, " Yeah it's really nice to go into a room and have it be organized and know where everything is. Most people going into our rooms just have a jaw drop I mean getting any teenage boy to pick up after himself is a miracle. When you get as many as we do it's insane and everyone even out head of house asks how we are able to manage it and in all reality it's just team work. [/b] He smiled walking he looked a head and there was the great hall. That was slightly depressing he looked over at her and was surprised she said that she really liked to read. He thought he was the only student in hogwarts that honestly liked to read. He asked her " What kind of books are you into, I personally love dragon books or really anything.[/b]" He looked over at her with a smile he was really glade she had agreed to go to breakfast with him. He really didn't want to talk to her about just quidditch. " I really think that history on great wizards are fun too. When I was little I used to hang out after reading and pretending to be some of the most famous wizards the good ones that is.[/b]" He was really embarrassed that he had just told her that but it was true and he almost wanted to tell her these things about when he was little. He wanted to tell her that yes he was a mistake but he was also glade that his mother kept him and that they were a full family. He looked around and was about to do a happy dance. His face lit up and he was really excited she had said yes the first time he'd ever ask a girl out because he wanted to hang out with her and he wanted to get to know her. He just did they got to the great hall and asked " Where do you want to sit down Miss. Amelie?[/b]" He smiled at her and waited to see what she had to say.[/blockquote]

This just made her suspicion worse. He was almost copying word for word what she said on a regular basis (Well minus the bit about boys) but Mason wouldn't do that to her right? That was more of a Miley and Aiden thing. She bit her lip and tried to push it from her mind. Tyler wouldn't do that, he couldn't be that mean. Of course all her roommates would tell her otherwise. She mentally shook her head. She wasn't going to let her own crazy mind ruin her time with Tyler so she smiled and looked at him. "That sounds.... amazingly rehersed." She said honestly but with a smile. "And kind of unrealistic, I really can't believe it, especially since first off, you and Mason don't share a dorm, second off, I've met the boys of Gryffindor, most of them, not all of them albeit, but most of them are slobs who wouldn't clean their dorm unless they knew their mums were coming and would be appalled by the state of the beds." She blinked. "Not that I'm calling you a liar or antyhing." She said quickly.
"I read a lot of different things, generally I read biographies, autobiographies that sort of thing, I really like history too. Umm... then with fiction I go through stages. For example this summer I read a lot of 'boy's coming of age' sort of stories, mostly because I was trying to find things for my mum to shove on Mason and Aiden who don't read nearly as much as I and my sister Summerlee do." It was common knowledge through the school that the Radcliffes were a big family. Not counting cousins there were already four of them in school and next year there would be another and as Mason and Amelie left Tyson would be coming in, then now her mum was pregnant again, so in all there was going to be at least seven of them, plus her parents. She smiled at the idea of him playing in his backyard pretending to be Harry Potter or Albus Dumbledore. "I never really got to pick what we played, Mason and Miley usually chose." She was quieter, she'd do whatever they wanted.
They were there. She expected him to walk off to the gryffindor table and leave her to go to the Ravenclaw table. However that's not what happened. She faltered in shock. "I umm... your... your table." She said. She didn't know if she'd be able to deal with all her Ravenclaw friends watching her eat with him, at least this way she could lie and say she was sitting with Mason if they got too up in her face. She smiled tightly and walked over to the Gryffindor table, it was odd, sitting at a table that wasn't her own. She'd been sitting at the Ravenclaw table for going on four years so this was foreign territory for her.

Tyler smiled and walked over to his table with Amelie. He looked at her and just sighed knowing she was probably having her doubts about him everyone did. He looked at her in the eyes. " You're right it does sound rehearsed and you're right Gryffindor boys aren't very well we aren't really all that organized and we aren't at all very good at keeping things done. But unless you are first years all of us boys pretty much switch dorms. Which is why I indeed do share a room with your brother. I have since his second year and my third. But there are two other boys who are really good friends Jermey, and Kent that I share with one is a sixth year and one is another fifth year. We are all good friends and like our dorm clean. Granted I'm a prefect this year so I got the choice of having my own dorm or giving that up for more people. So instead I talked to my head of house and with a simple spell we got the room bigger and built for four boys. If you don't believe me I have no problem getting them to prove it to you. [/b]" Tyler was telling the truth they always switched around dorms his head of house never minded. He looked over at her and nodded his head sitting down next to her. " My little sisters love reading those kind of stories, Kendra and Heather. They read more then anyone I know and know more about magic then I do and I'm already studying for my sixth year. But I like historical things my favorite place in the whole world is in London actually its the muggle museum. Okay so I know there is You and Mason, Miley, Aiden, I'm guessing Summerlee is a sister of yours. How many more of you are there? Not to be rude or anything big families must be wonderful and everything I just can't imagine such a big family, Okay I'm going to shut up now before I say some more wrong things that could be taken offensively.[/b]" He mentally slapped himself a couple times over telling himself that he was just a git. He started pouring himself some milk he had always liked milk. He loved his sisters but he knew that if they were here right now they'd steal Amelie away and tell her that he was just bad news. Which in most cases he was, not in this case though. He really did want Amelie to get to know him for the real him. He looked at the food and waited for her to grab something before he being the boy he was piled his plate sky high and started eating it all. He bit his lip and asked, " What's your favorite color?[/b]" She was different then her brother she wasn't always talking about something and she seemed more focused and more driven then Mason. Granted Mason could be those things only when he was on the quidditch field. He was good at quidditch and was going to be great over time but Tyler was already at a seventh year standing on the quidditch front and he was working toward pro-level to get his dad off his back so much.[/blockquote]

He was good at long speeches. She noted, he had this habit of just going on and on about a subject without a pause. It wasn't a bad thing, it was just different from what she was use to. She didn't talk a lot, her siblings liked to talk but it was mostly back and forth, not a lot of long drawn out almost monologue-esque speeches. "That is... so painfully against the rules... my parents would be proud." She said. She had a strong feeling her parents preferred Mason over her. Mason was more like them, he was fun and silly and he broke rules. She stayed by herself, she followed rules and she got panicky if she thought she was going to get into trouble, her mother insisted that she'd get over it, she just had to find someone, a boy or just a friend, that would help her to loosen up. it was bad when her parents were telling her she needed to break some rules.
"You're not studying for OWLs? I'd be freaking out... I'm already freaking out and I"m not taking them until next year." She shrugged. She couldn't imagine ever feeling so comfortable with herself that she'd move on from the material covered in the test, especially since she didn't know what she wanted to do after Hogwarts so she had no idea what classes she was going to take for her sixth year and seventh year, of course she hated not knowing that much. She laughed lightly when he thought she'd be offended by his question. "Don't worry, you managed to ask a lot more politelty than others have. There are six of us right now. Mason and I, we're fourteen but you know that. Then Miley is thirteen and Aiden is Twelve. Then there's Summerlee, she's ten and finally there's Tyson, he's seven. He gets a lot of attention because he's deaf. And right now mum is pregnant again which is great because as if it wasn't hard enough to get attention in our house, now we get to compete with Tyson and a baby." She rolled her eyes.
She got a glass of milk and then started putting food on her plate. She couldn't have anything touching, ever. She got pancakes and straberries and that was it. She didn't eat a lot of breakfast. She poured syrup on her pancakes carefully, not wanting to get it all over the place. Actually she hated to get a single drip over the edge ofhe pancake. First she bit into a strawberry, looking at him when he asked about her favorite color. "I really like blue, mostly light-ish powdery blues and I like purple a lot." She answered, biting the strawberry again. "What's yours?" She asked, finishing the strawberry and putting the head of it on the napkin, she would be making a perfect little row of those as she finished them. She picked up the next one, an observant person would see she was eating them in order of size and bit in.

Tyler looked at her and nodded, " My favorite colors are Navy and silver. They just go so well together to me. Plus it reminds me of a beautiful night sky even though in my opinion you are prettier then any night sky. [/b]" He grabbed two pancakes and four strawberries then two sausage links. He grabbed the syrup and started pouring it in a zig zag pattern. " You know Amelie you are the only person I know who eats their strawberries in according to their size I have to admit I kind of think that is cool.[/b]" So he was weird and thought peoples traits and habits were interesting. He was weird but his favorite pass time was to go out in public and just people watch for hours and hours. He smiled and started eating at his own strawberries which were smallest to biggest. He was very sure of himself when it came to his studies. He looked over at her and shrugged his shoulders," I've prepared for my OWLs since I was about five years old. My mother always had me reading weather she was reading them to me and i recited it back to her or I read it and took quizzes on it. I know what I want to do when I am done here and I know what I need to be studying to get there. It's scary to know just how quickly that is coming. My father wants me to be a professional athlete but I have a back up plan that I love every class every made on it.[/b]" Tyler was a confident young man he knew what he wanted and nothing was stop him from getting it. It was true his mother wanted him to do what ever made him happy. While his father didn't care it was quidditch that was all it was. He was going to be an Auror he wanted to be the man who caught the wizards that killed people. But he also wanted to work with the stars. He looked over at Amelie and smiled a little bit. " Yes you are right it is against the rules. But Amelie sometimes to live your life you just have to trust that even though it's against the rules it's the best choice. Yes what we are doing is against the rules but if you look at it in the long term we are making out lives better. Hogwarts is about making friends studying and trying to be the best wizard that you could ever be. So living with our friends we are able to have the most fun and still be allowed to accede in the areas that we choose.[/b]" He was going to get her to loosen up a little bit he knew it wasn't going to be easy but he knew that he was going to get it one way or another. He was going to show Amelie how to have some fun once in a while. [/blockquote]

Amelie smiled, she had finished her strawberries and could eat her pancakes. "Ooh those are a really nice combonation." She was a fan of blue in general because of her house but whatever. Yes, Amelie had a good deal of school spirit, but when it came to Quidditch she found herself conflicted, because of her brothers. Okay brother, she'd always root for Mason over Aiden. She smiled at him when he said she was prettier than the night sky, it was cheesey but it was so sweet. She looked at the strawberry line on her napkin. "Umm.. Yeah thanks. My housemates find it weird, especially when I line them up, However I don't see how it's any weirder than letting food mix all together so you can't properly taste it. Then it's odd and a waste." She shrugged.
"I still don't think i'd feel prepared. I'm worried about OWLs and terrified over NEWTs. My mum swears it'll be fine no matter what. 'You're a Vander Wende and a Radcliffe, if there's one thing you should never worry about it's the future and a job or money'." She quoted "But I'm still always thinking about it. I don't want to live off my family's money forever." She reasoned, she'd never actually said this out loud but she kind of felt like Tyler would actually give a flying fig about it. "That's good, I'm not sure what my dad's going to do in the next couple of years when he's declared to old for the game. What's your back up plan?" Amelie asked, cutting a perfect block out of her pancakes and forking it into her mouth, looking at him with interest.
Her smile faltered as he went on about breaking rules. "Well if they weren't necessary then they wouldn't be there. I'm sure the school had a reason for putting grades together." She said. She was painfully uptight about rules. "I don't see what would make it such a great thing. The only thing that has to be done in the dorms are sleeping." She looked down at her pancake. She pressed her lips together, she wasn't going to say anymore about it, she didn't want to make him mad. "But... whatever. I guess it's not my business. I think I should go." She said, starting to get up. This was Tyler Kemp, he wasn't going to be interested in her, she was too uptight, she couldn't relax if she wanted to, it just... wasn't her and she hated that.

Tyler was about to tell her about his back up plan when she started on her rant about following the rules it all happened so fast he was so confused but he saw her starting to get up and he really did just turn to face her and his eyes were wide looking at her. " Amelie wait, I'm so sorry I offended you I was just being joking I didn't mean to offend you. I didn't mean to I just tried to give my opinion I'm sorry it came off wrong please stay lets finish breakfast let me walk to you to your class at least please. [/b]" He was getting kind of tired she was really hard to read which threw him off but he liked that. He kind of liked this side of himself the one that actually cared about someone else. Not just going around getting every girl that walked and was alive into bed. Tyler sighed and looked at her and said " My back up plan is to either be an Auror or become a headmaster at this very school[/b]" He went back to eating his breakfast in all honesty if she was going to leave then she was going to leave and he was going to be done for a while he wasn't going to waste his time if she wasn't going to give him a chance to talk with her without having her think that it was just some joke. Granted getting her to like him was a joke to everyone else there wasn't anyway she was going to like him. She just started cutting his food up and concentrating on just getting through breakfast. He ran a hand through his hair and looked at her he didn't understand how he was supposed to function around her when she would take things the wrong way. What bothered him more was that he cared so much about it. He looked at her a second and said," They should be one to talk everyone has their habits it is rude to call someone weird because of what they do. It's wrong[/b]" He shrugged his shoulders and started chewing some of his food. When he finally finished he looked at her and said," That's understandable living off of family money is kind of irritating I think anyway they always have something to hold over your head and to me it's like I'm going to school to learn things to make something of yourself apply it and live on your own so your parents can't have you on a leash still.[/b]" That was the way he saw when he graduated he was going to make money and not expect anything from his family.
