Overall Personality: Meredith is a loving person. She is kind and would do anything for almost anyone. She is a sweet girl with a heart of gold. She loves to help people and the feeling that comes with it. However she can also be painfully ruthless if you cross her. If she feels you've done something to hurt her or a loved one then you better watch your back. She has no problem biting your head off. Normally though she's just an energetic young woman trying to raise her kids and keep her husband happy.

General History: Monica Lanches had a few boyfriends after her break up with Frank Longbottom. One of them was Joshua Penn, resulting in a pregnancy and twins, Meredith and Jeromy. Meredith looks back at her childhood with fondness. Sure they weren't rich, they lived in a flat over the apothocary, but she loved her mother and her brother and her life in general. It wasn't always easy but they made it work. She was eleven when she and her brother got their letters to Hogwarts. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, which was a bit of a shock because, she was smart but she never thought of herself as Ravenclaw Smart, that was Jeromy. However she liked her house and she liked her roommates.

She stayed close with her brother but there was a bit of a monkey wrentch, she was boy-crazy and her brother was over protective. The summer of her fourth year their mother ran into an old flame, Frank Longbottom. She started dating him and Jeromy went crazy. That same year Meredith signed up for a dating service and was paired with Elijah Diggory, the most amazing guy she'd ever met. Jeromy was angry, of course, but Meredith told him to get over it because she was happy and she'd never forgive him if he ruined this for her. He settled down only when he started hanging out with Frank's daughter Annabelle. Throughout Hogwarts the two dated, even when Eli graduated and Meredith went through seventh year.

When Meredith graduated she got into the fashion industry. It was a lot of work and a lot of stress, the paired with Eli's training and quidditch crap, the two just couldn't make it work and they broke up. Meredith was heart broken, but she didn't have time to grieve, she had work to do. She pushed her way up in the industry until she got her own clothing line. It was around that time that her brother and his wife, Annabelle, had their first child, a little girl. It broke Meredith's heart that she was missing out on having a family because of her work. However it was because of work that she ran into Eli Diggory again. She was at a party with a few fellow designers and she happened to run into her ex-boyfriend. The two got to talking and old feelings started to stirr again.

Less than a year later they got engaged and married. Meredith was really, really happy. It was only made all the better when she found out she was pregnant. She gave birth to twin boys, Cedric and Seamus. She loved her boys with all her heart and managed to make work and taking care of the twins mesh and she's still designing. Even now, after she's had her daughter, Violet.
