Fears: Elijah in his wolf form, canine creatures of all forms, never getting married
Strengths: Friendly, courageous, loyal, laid-back, moderate
Weaknesses: Firey temper, a little timid, slightly stubborn, easy to scare, romantic
Habits: Bites her lip, rubs her hands together, paces
Goals: Finally marry Elijah, someday start a family, find a Harry Potter of Quidditch
Overall Personality: Rosie is still pretty laid-back. She doesn't get angry very often, and she hates being in arguments, but she does get annoyed sometimes. Everyone has their pet peeves, especially about their significant others, and Rosie is no exception. But still, she loves him, and she insists on staying with him no matter what. That includes staying with him despite his condition, which she is terrified of, but doesn't want to say anything because she's afraid she'll hurt his feelings. When she does get angry, though, everybody knows. She has quite the firey temper, which can be surprising in its contradiction to her slight timidity most of the time. She's a bit stubborn when she's angry as well. She knows what she wants, and though she's usually willing to bend, there are some things she will not move on.
Rosie is still a romantic. She has ideas for her future, though she's afraid that some of them will never come true. She's still rather easy to scare, though not to frighten- more just little things, like sneaking up behind her and saying 'Boo!' She's a little more paranoid lately especially around dogs due to Elijah's condition. She's pretty friendly to most people, which helps her relate to her students.

Hometown: Where were you born?
Father: Alexander Hartley
Mother: Jessica Hartley
Siblings: Leureley Hartley, Minerva Hartley
Others: Elijah Lupin, significant other
General History: Rosie was born the middle child of three to a wizard father and a muggle mother. Though shocked at first at the discovery of her husband's magical abilities, Rosie's mother soon came accustomed to and began to love magic, and was very proud when all three of her daughters in turn got accepted to Hogwarts. Throughout their time at Hogwarts, the three girls were rather close, until around Rosie's third year, her elder sister's fifth year and her younger sister's second year. Her older sister Laurie started wishing for friends her age, and Minnie began to become more and more of a little brat. Luckily, there in the midst of the chaos with her sisters, Rosie found Elijah.
Elijah Lupin was always a bit of a mystery to Rosie. He had always seemed like a good guy, though he never seemed to talk to her before they were on the Quidditch team together. Finally, they started talking, and it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Despite their occasional differences, Rosie couldn't help but like and later love him more and more each day. It always felt like there was something he was hiding from her, though. It was worse when suddenly he stopped coming to practice, stopped talking to her. It hurt her horribly, and she began to feel the depression that seemed to be coming over him. Eventually, he started to talk to her again and return to playing Quidditch. She didn't know what had happened, but she was just glad to have him back, so she tried to make everything seem as much like normal as possible, and eventually he came out of his funk.
As the years went on, they continued dating, with the occasional break-up, but they always ended up back together. They graduated from Hogwarts together, then broke up for a little while. They ended up finding each other again, though, seeing each other over and over again without meaning to. It was like they were magnetically attracted to each other- they just couldn't seem to stay apart, no matter what they did. They always stayed together longer than they were apart. Rosie was just waiting for when they'd finally move in together, get married, and maybe even start a family. She couldn't help but keep her romantic mindset.
They had been dating for about a year and a half, one of their longer streaks, when he finally told her about his monthly problem. She was absolutely terrified at first, and without thinking about it, she just left his apartment, walking and then running away. She ran for about half an hour before she realized what she had done, how he was probably feeling. After some thought, she decided that he was worth more to her than that, and that she couldn't let it get in the way of such a strong relationship. She apparated back to the house, and they argued quite a bit at first, but finally she convinced him of how sorry she was, and made him think as much as she could that she wasn't so afraid. She promised him she wouldn't leave because of that, and since that moment, they dated pretty steadily.
Eventually it got to the point where they couldn't help but move in together. It makes her shiver when he disappears for a period each month, though he tries to sneak out as quietly as possible, but she has learned to tolerate the idea. It's even becoming less of a problem in her mind, being replaced more and more by her latest concern- when will he pop the question?
