Eli looked over at his daughter when she cried. "Awww, lil' Vi, what's wrong?" He watched his wife tend to Violet, but his gaze fell on Cedric when he whined about his macaroni. "Then what do you want, Ced?" He stood, pulling out his wand.

"I wan... I wan pasketti." Cedric decided.
"He doesn't like Spighetti." Meredith called from the other room where she was changing the baby's diaper. "He just likes to throw the noodles." And she hated having to clean up the mess from it.
"I wan... I want..." He pouted, pushing away his bowl of Maceroni.

Eli was about to use magic to make the pasta, but after hearing his wife, he decided not to. "How 'bout... a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?" He looked at his sons. They looked exactly alike, but they were almost complete opposites. They also both looked at bit like himself when he was young, but their hair was a brown, while Eli's was black.

Cedric nodded, Peanut butter and Jelly. That was what he wanted. Meredith came back in with the clean and calmed down Violet. She also carried Violet's swing which she sat her in as soon as she set the thing up. "Mummy!" Seamus whined, he had cheese on his hand and he didn't like that. She walked over and cleaned his hand while Eli took care of Cedric.
"You're gonna play with us right daddy?" Cedric asked excitedly.

Eli smiled at his sons. With a wave of his wand, the ingredients prepared themselves and made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He picked it up off the counter and placed it in front of Cedric. "Of course I will Ced."

Meredith picked up the bowl of untouched mac and cheese and dig into it. If her son wasn't going to eat it then she would. "Yum." She smiled. Generally she didn't have time to eat before dinner, it was part of how she lost all the baby weight so fast. Cedric cheered happily and Seamus joined him. "First you have to eat all your lunch." Meredith said.

Eli smiled. He usually was always happy at home. Well, this home. His childhood home was just... ugh. His grandfather expected him to be a clone of his late uncle. His father was always working at the ministry. But his mom, she was the only good thing. Even if she was muggle, she was the most magical that was in his life. Elijah didn't know how he'd react if she... was gone. He looked at his sons and chuckled, taking a large bite of mac'n'cheese.

the boys quickly finished eating and looked at him expectantly. "Let your dad finish eating, come on boys we'll go get some toys." She said. "Then when your daddy's done he can come up and get you." She smiled. She figured she'd could also get the boys in sweaters while they were up there. She was also going to put Violet in something a bit warmer so that they could sit outside and watch the boys play. "Eli can you watch Violet and bring her up when you come to get the boys?" She asked her husband, she trusted him to watch the baby, he was competent, she trusted him to not almost drop the baby like her brother had with his son, but he managed to balence before he actually dropped Tommy so it was okay. She took her son's hands and headed upstairs to their room.

Eli looked up at Meredith. He saluted her. "Yes ma'am." He laughed. Taking another bite of the macaroni, he smiled at Violet.

Meredith took the boys up to their room and got them both into jackets before letting them pick out some toys to take outside. They both grabbed their toy brooms and then Seamus grabbed a little plastic baseball set out and Cedric had a little plastic quidditch set. Meredith watched them as they ran around getting everything.

Eli finished his meal, putting the bowl in the sink. He picked up Violet and carried her upstairs. "Hey lil' girl." He cooed. "How's my little flower?"

Violet waved her arms at her dad and gurgled. She smiled adorably and let out a giggly shrieking sound, drooling all over her chin and the neckline of her dress.
Cedric started trying to drag the trunk of quidditch balls through the room, but it was a bit too heavy for him to carry by himself. "honey just wait for daddy to get here, he can help you." Meredith said, grabbing a thing of bubbles .

Meredith smiled as Elijah walked in. "Daddy! Help!" Cedric pouted, trying to drag the trunk again, all he managed to do was wrinkle the rug covering the floor. Seamus had his toys gathered in his arms and was waiting to go outside. "What do you say Cedric?" Meredith reminded him. "Pease!" Cedric added, trying to drag it again. Meredith smiled and walked over. "i'll trade you kids, and Violet and I will be out there in a minute." She said.

"Whoa Ced, that's a little big for you." Eli handed Violet to Meredith, giving his wife a passing kiss before lifting the trunk for his son.
