Cedric smiled as his dad picked up the trunk and he and Seamus ran off. "Wait for your dad before going out." Meredith called after them. She took Violet to her room and changed her into something warmer. It wasn't terribly cold outside but it was getting lateish and it was going to get colder. She grabbed a couple of things and headed outside to the backyard with the boys. "Violet do you want to watch daddy and your brothers play?" She asked the little girl. She put the baby down on a blanket and gave her some things to play with. Then she took out her sketch book and started designing, she was currently working on a new line for a more everyday look.

Eli carried the trunk out of the boys' room and down the hall to a closet. He set the trunk down, and took his practice broom from the closet. He held the broom, putting it between his arm and side. He lifted the trunk and again and went out into the backyard.

Meredith smiled and watched the boys, then glanced at her daughter who was playing with her feet.
Cedric got excited and got onto the broom, the toy broom only got so high but he still loved to play. He wanted to be just like his daddy, he loved to fly and he loved it when his daddy would take him for rides on the real broom.

Eli opened up the trunk, taking out a volleyball-sized red ball. He never let the bludgers out when playing with the boys; he wasn't going to until they were older. Holding the quaffle, he mounted his broom.

The boys got on their little toy brooms and waited for the signal. Meredith stuck her thumb and ring finger in her mouth and let out a shrill whistle to signal the start, it scared the baby and she started crying to Meredith picked her up to calm her down, keeping an eye on Cedric and Seamus.

Eli threw the quaffle up in the air for the boys. He could just imagine Cedric being on the quidditch team when he got into school. It made him proud. He felt proud to be a dad.

Cedric rushed forward to get the quaffle, he caught it and started for his side of the yard, the little brooms couldn't go terribly fast but still it was fun to ride on it. Seamus hurried after his brother, detirmined to get the quaffle.

Eli followed the boys, reaching the other side before them. He smiled as they flew toward him.

Seamus reached to get the quaffle from his brother but fell off the broom, since the broom only took him about two feet off the ground he wasn't seriously hurt but that didn't stop him from crying.

Eli's eyes widened. He dismounted his broom and knelt down next to Seamus. "Shhh, you're alright." Eli sat and brought Seamus up into his lap.

Meredith looked up when she heard the crying, but it looked like Eli had it. "I...hurt-ed...my... knee." Seamus said between sobs. Cedric walked over to see if is brother was okay.

Eli frowned slightly. "Which knee buddy?" He asked.

Seamus pointed to his scuffed and dirty knee, still crying. Cedric, looked at his brother's knee and kissed it. "All better?" He asked, that was what their mummy did.

Eli looked at the knee. "Well, it's not bleeding, or broken..."

"It...it... hurts." Seamus cried. Meredith tried to get Eli's attention, signalling for him to kiss the booboo, generally that was all it took to make Seamus happy again.
